Date | Story | Comments from Phil S | Gentle's response | Rating | 19/07/2006 7:23:42 p.m. | Picture This 2 | Your usual excellent, somewhat spare scene-setting and perky dialogue. I love reading it. Thanks for sharing! | Sucks Phil, did you have to? :-) Thanks. |

27/05/2006 11:39:16 a.m. | Stand and Deliver | ROFLMAO. _What_ a _conniving_ _Minx_! I hope Lawrence doesn't marry her, she won't be happy in it. Come to think of it, they're _both_ conniving minxes. If I'd met them when I was young, I'd have died like the donkey between the two piles of hay! | Bad is the new good though, Phil. :-) |

27/05/2006 4:15:53 a.m. | Photographic Memory 1 | Your usual excellent dialogue and earthily delicate descriptions. You somehow manage to make everything fun, and hot, while remaining almost prim in your descriptions -- like how I'd imagine my favorite repressed librarian (and a good friend she is, too) would go about describing sex if she could bring herself to write good smut. (Yes, this is a compliment -- if it sounds backhanded, sorry, didn't mean it that way!) | I'm a wimp! :-) |

9/12/2005 6:23:35 p.m. | Eyes Closed Part 2 - Blindfolded | Excellent. Just... excellent. Lots of fun to read, explicit and hot. | ^_^ *Grins* |

9/12/2005 6:21:12 p.m. | Encounter | _Very_ nice fantasy work. Very... like explicit Mercedes Lackey. Ethereal and sexy at the same time. Good stuff. | Very glad you liked it so much! |

20/11/2005 11:01:52 a.m. | The Game - Part 1 - Opening Gambit | Very hot, in an intense, scary sort of way. Intriguing that the person knows so much about her but she has no clue as to his identity. | Just what I was looking for! |

Gawd. Incredibly hot. Not for anyone in the audience who's ever been abused or raped, though.
Believability, about zero -- once you ... |
Well, so far they react like Heather. So there. :-) |

1/11/2005 6:59:05 p.m. | Under The Desk | Interesting "phone sex" -- nice and hot, I _love_ your dialogue. As usual! | Thanks Phil. |

4/10/2005 7:44:43 p.m. | No Sequel | I half guessed that was going to be the ending, but, well, hell. Nice first 99% of the story, but _please_ don't end ***** --Phil, freely offering his opinion. | Oops. Bleeped you again Phil. Sorry. |

4/10/2005 7:43:17 p.m. | Kimberly might not have been drunk | I _finally_ took the time to read this. Fun, and nice variety, but don't switch to this exclusively -- your dialogue is very good and would be badly missed if you stopped writing it. Nice twist to the ending. *****. Well done. | Thanks Phil. Sorry to bleep you. |

12/08/2005 7:31:23 a.m. | Hey gorgeous | ::snicker:: I _love_ the twist, as usual. The sex is as hot as ever, too. Just another, routine, great piece of work by Gentle... | Thanks Phil. |

1/05/2005 2:03:52 p.m. | Suddenly wide awake | Your usual excellent dialogue, with a merry/silly/funny twist at the end. I like it! Excellent fluff. | Fluff? How dare you, Sir? :-) |

2/03/2005 6:26:28 a.m. | It starts with a castle Part 2 | Sweet and fun! I like her viewpoint, and you've adapted your dialogue style nicely to the period. | Thanks Phil. |

5/02/2005 | Next Time - Part 1 | I can't _believe_ that I missed this when you put it out originally. This is your trademark style at its best. Excellent, hot-and-bothered scene with Sam, wonderful description of the young, apprehensive lovers. You go, guy. | Well, belated thanks then, Phil. |

5/02/2005 | Tiros and his Nemesis | So, who was Tiros? I can't find him using conventional Web searches (even searching Bulfinch's Mythology, Vol. 1). Interesting story, and fun, though. | Hee hee. Him I made up, Phil. I didn't want to anger the Gods! |

5/02/2005 | Next Time - Part 2 | This needs a Part 3. They should get married. "Make it so." More excellent writing, and thank you for sharing it with us (well, me at least) in the appreciative audience. The sequence of apologies was nice, and the way in which they talked their way into each other's arms was fun, and funny, and hot. The description of the actual sex was just perfect, just the amount of detail I like without going overboard. Thanks! | Thanks for the kind words, and the appreciation, and the encouragement. And no. :-) |

6/01/2005 | The Quiz | ROFL. As usual, I love your dialogue. Carly's just a scream (or is that a 'hoot', these days?) -- I kept having to go back, reread, get it the second time, and laugh. |

12/11/2004 | Wake up call | ::smacks lips judiciously:: Not bad. I like her ability to deal with the rest of the world so that it all goes away and she can stay focused on him. Impressive woman. I do think that some of your other stuff radiates more heat, but for believability, this ranks very high. It's well written stylistically, too, feels like a scene from a good popular novel. | Wow, thanks a lot Phil. |

2/11/2004 | Splat! | I love it! It's hilarious and sexy and fun. Keep it up. | Funny is a lot of work you know, Phil. :-) Thanks. |

23/10/2004 | The Billy Goats Gruff - and the Troll | ROFL. I love it! Leave it just as it is, and when you get enough of them, consider marketing "Erotic Fairy Tales" to Olympia Press. It's sexy and a hilarious sendup of the original. | Thanks Phil. I have a half dozen in here already. You just have to find them. |

6/10/2004 | Digitally Part 3 | Hmm. Yum. ::licks chops appreciatively, wriggles around in chair a bit::. Nice. Good writing. Good dialogue. Lovely description of the beauteous Stella. Lucky Joe, that rat-bastard, he doesn't deserve to be so lucky. Good for 'im. Fun read. Thanks, again. | Oh, poor Phil. Piles, is it? 8-) |

6/10/2004 | Digitally | Woo-woo! MARVELOUS dialogue, funny and sexy at the same time. Wish _I'd_ had a friend like Mel, it would have done me a world of good at the right time. | Wait until part 3. He meets Stella then... |

25/09/2004 | Alpha & Omega | Silly but fun. I'm jealous of your imagination |

16/09/2004 | Hail Part 2 | Yow! Hail's fun. You have a nice way of distilling an erotic story down to the essential elements which make the protagonist sympathetic as well as sexy. Well done. As usual... | Oh, thanks Phil. |

11/09/2004 | Sally | Okay, another goddamn great story by Gentlebutfirm. You're going to think I compliment all writers like this. I love it. I'm going to read it again. _Where_ are you getting all this? Will you lend your muse to Frank Downey for a few chapters (since his clearly isn't working for him at the moment)? | Hell Phil, Frank doesn't need anything I have, but if he wants it, go for it. |

11/09/2004 | Life | Another very well done vignette. Definitely sweet and a pleasure to read. |

8/09/2004 | Electronically | Good sex. Twisted ending. | I removed the rest of your comment so you don't give the story away. Sorry Phil. |

8/09/2004 | The Swap Part 3 | Oo! Just as good as the first two! Love it! How're you going to top this? Excellent imagination. You think they're going to stop at the islands and take on some handsome young hunk for just one evening, to see how far they want to go with it? |

3/09/2004 | Tom | Very_ nice and romantic. I love your descriptions of sex -- you're even better at sweetness than Downey. | Oh, you don't want to say things like that about Frank, but thanks. |

3/09/2004 | Vivian | Yeah, okay, so this is three reviews inside half an hour. So deal with it. You're an incredibly good short-and-medium-story-writer. (Do you write long stories?) These are hot fun and good reading, with people I'm immediately in like with. Thanks for publishing your material! | Thanks a huge great pile for the feedback! Long? I can manage a few chapters, but it's hard work. |

3/09/2004 | It starts with a castle | ROFL! Hot and funny both. Love it. |
